The patient, 60-old-man, visited our clinic with the chief complaint of hoarseness, dyspnea, and dysphagia. The direct laryngoscopy revealed a smooth cystic mass approximately 3. 0 centimeters in diameter on the valleculae, which was reddish, movable, smooth -on surface. The histological diagnosis was comfirmed as the cyst. The cyst was removed through pharyngotomy with good results.
